Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Roastify Economy (the "Bot"), including any related websites, commands, and services (together, the "Service"). By inviting the Bot to a Discord server, or by using any command provided by the Bot, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for use in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement to use Discord, and by extension, the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a Discord server, you confirm that you have the authority to add and configure bots on that server.

3. Virtual Currency & No Real-World Value

Roastify Economy provides a fictional, in-bot economy system including virtual currency, items, achievements, badges, and leaderboard rankings (collectively, "Virtual Items"). Virtual Items:

• Have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or converted for real money, cryptocurrency, goods, or services;
• Are not a form of gambling for real stakes — all in-bot games (e.g. Slots, Blackjack, Roulette, Coinflip, Dice, Horse Race) use only virtual currency;
• May be reset, adjusted, removed, or wiped at any time, with or without notice, including to correct bugs, exploits, or balance issues;
• Are licensed to you for entertainment purposes only and remain the property of the Bot's operator.

Use of gambling-style commands involves virtual risk only. Play responsibly and do not treat outcomes as reflective of real-world betting or financial advice.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities to gain an unfair advantage or duplicate Virtual Items;
• Use automation, self-bots, macros, or scripts to interact with the Bot's commands;
• Operate multiple accounts to abuse rewards, referral, or trading systems;
• Attempt to buy, sell, or trade Virtual Items for real-world currency or items outside the Bot;
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm other users, or to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Bot, except as permitted by law.

5. Server Data & Moderation

Server administrators may configure certain Bot settings within their own Discord server. The Bot's operator is not responsible for how individual server administrators configure or moderate their communities. We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or remove the Bot's functionality for specific users or servers that violate these Terms.

6. Availability & No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that Virtual Item balances, statistics, or progress will be preserved indefinitely. Scheduled maintenance, outages, updates, or Discord platform issues may affect availability at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bot's operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, Virtual Items, progress, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or remove the Bot from a server, at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms, without prior notice or liability.

9. Changes to the Service & Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the Service, and may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of information in connection with the Service is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
